Anyone who performs magic knows Rick Lax has some real gems, and this is no exception. For those of
you who think this is just another classic routine or "French Kiss" variation you are mistaken.
Along with the obvious routine Rick covers everything from angles, patter, misdirection, and even
gives his 2 cents on why a larger sharpie is better, along with a few tips to make any routine
better. This routine is ready to perform anytime anywhere. There are no duplicate cards, no forces,
and no gimmicks to make. It can be done right away from a borrowed shuffled deck with zero set up.
Rick also teaches what I agree with to be a new sleight that can be applied to almost all
your card magic to raise it to a new level. There is not a lot of routines like this that you end
clean, and are virtually angle proof. This routine will be going straight to my strolling show.
Another home run Rick, thanks for the commitment you have to providing all of us beginners,
and advanced magicians with what appears to be truly impromptu and organic magic.Keep up the good
work and congratulations on Penn and Teller Fool US
