Robert Neale is not interested in tricks or fooling people. He sees the magic and illusion in
everyday life. Love, religion, optimism, comforting statements, etc. He blurs the line between
living, entertaining and being entertained. This book has lots of effects but even if it didn't
I'd be thrilled reading it. It gives a different motivation for the magician/spectator relationship
which won't speak to everyone but speaks to me. It also has plenty to say about life itself.
Nonmagicians could happily read this and be enlightened as well. Mystery, wonder and curiousity are
shared by nearly everyone even if they don't think they enjoy magic. I can't say enough good about
this book and will be reading the two follow up editions as well.
