Having performed this effect quite a few times for 'real' people in both informal and professional
paid environments , I've found it to be both deceptive and engaging.
I had pretty much
worked out the method from watching the trailer, but was happy to pay my money to learn any
subtleties or 'bits of business' that could enhance the effect and help mask the method, which, if
I'm honest, I thought might be a little obvious and risky. What I was't expecting was a second
method for the effect which, in my mind, is superior to the standard version. I won't mention what
it uses here (most people have one and in a sense, it is still impromptu) because Matt hasn't chosen
to include it in the trailer, but I feel it really adds an innocent and deceptive layer to the
effect.
Highly recommended.
