In the wide world of custom decks here's a stand out for any collector and/or card worker. It begins
with the case which opens lengthwise. The whole thing is so attractive I went as far as to use an
X-Acto knife to cut through the poetic stamp seal to preserve it, running the blade along the case's
cut out edge and straight across the seal. When closed it's hard to even tell the seal has been
broken. The case felt a little strange at first when opening from the side, just something they're
not used to. This very thing however caught the eye of my friends almost immediately and once I took
the cards out I had to let them examine it. They loved the case and cards, talking all about them,
the artwork, the colors, how earthy everything looks. I previously had stacked them in good'ol Si
Stebbins fashion and used the back design for the spectator to stare into the owl's gaze, then I did
the same and named their selected card. The cards, I believe, enhanced the experience. They are that
pretty.
The cards are very well produced. The edges are very clean, smooth, and flawless
in fanning properties and the cards themselves will withstand a lifetime of semi-respectful use and
care.
For the uniqueness of this deck in both the cards and case and overall build I give
it a very high recommendation.
