Vanish a playing card that your audience member is merely thinking of. Building on a classic principle in magic, this trick has a baffling vanish that works in real life and over video chat. Direct, sure-fire magic that is now printed on durable plastic that handles like ordinary playing cards so your favorite packet trick will never wear out. This is Princess On The Go by Josh Burch.

Here’s what happens:

The magician tells a story of being in a poker game when they were dealt one to many cards and had to vanish one of the cards so they wouldn’t get caught cheating. To illustrate the story the magician shows the six cards in their hand and asks the spectator to merely think of any of the cards. With a snap of the fingers the thought of card vanishes, and the cards can be shown individually to prove that the magician is hiding nothing.

The Princess Card Trick is a classic in magic, and now it’s printed on durable polymer cards that handle like a dream. These cards can withstand living in your pocket, spilled drinks, sticky fingers, and even beach holidays. The poker routine is engaging to audiences, and the new vanish by Josh Burch gets great reactions. This will become your new go-to packet trick, and thanks to the high-quality plastic it will be for years to come. Perform your favorite packet trick anywhere with Princess On The Go by Josh Burch.

Think this one is going to reside in the drawer of unused magic. For some reason the cards chosen are easily remembered cause they resemble a small straight. I've been busted by my co-workers who will say something like "I was thinkin of the 3 but thought I saw a four of hearts in there too."

Oh well. I hate being busted- but this is a classic.

Great cards (from the video, they'll be arriving soon). Great instruction, and nice presentation. Easy to carry and will be a fun little item (and durable) to perform again and again. Well done.

One of the best EDC packet tricks ever! Report this review

I have had several versions of this over the years and it really has an impact on the spectators. What makes this version the best is that the gimmick allows you to basically show the cards (apparently, not in an actually examinable way) afterwards. It is VERY deceptive. The handling in the video is excellent and Josh does an excellent job of covering every aspect of this trick.

If you do the classic princess trick , you know how easy it is and how strong the reaction is , but hard to do with the same person unless you have this and then it can be done . That is when a winning trick becomes .... wait for it ... as NPH says ...legendary !

Card gimmicks too small and bad paper quality I gave them away to a kid magician without even watching the tutorial.

Interesting idea, poorly executed Report this review

Using DF is an interesting idea when it comes to the princess card trick. The problem is that you can’t take a card out of the spread. It must vanish. This changes what was a good mind reading effect into a so-so magic trick. The other issue is why use a possible straight? This ruins the retention idea. If participants see a 2,3,4, 5, 6 in the spread and choose the 4C, they will know something is wrong when the 4C has vanished but the 4S is now there. Make a regular princess card effect un plastic. Thats a good idea ! Please do a better job with your videos. Why did you have a shirtless guy in bed as a participant? Ugh! I can’t unsee that?

Good idea, but to get straight to it… Report this review

I really like the idea of using DFs for the princess card effect. I think that the selection of a possible straight, however, was a poor choice. I am going to try to perform it and see how it goes. If I get burned too often, however, I will try my own DFs. Either way, it was worth the investment.
