I received Spider Pen X and it allows miracles. I was just working with it and saw a review where
someone gave it a three star review but only owned the original and the pro version. Not sure how he
was able to review this without owning it but it's a big leap forward. It's smoother, quieter,
thinner, easier to use, affordable, and seems more dependable. Some other devices I have worked with
over the last few years are just too complicated. Yigal not only gives you full details on the
device but teaches some amazing magic as he typically does on his releases. His effects look like
real magic. Yigal understands thread work more than most people and he shares it with this item. I
am very happy with my purchase.

Mine stopped working after having it for 3 months and I only used it about 5 or 6 times. Penguin
magic does not stand by their products. They offered no replacement. Just said, sorry.

I picked up Yigal’s new spider pen x from penguin magic recently. Shipping was two days using FedEx.
Ok so where to begin. Anyone that has previously owned mesika’s spider pen pro, can without
doubt, know what they should expect with this new device. The spider pen x is essentially an
improved aesthetic. Previously the SPP was fairly big and bulky. The new pen is much thinner and
resembles a good quality writing pen. The body is made of stainless steel so it’s more durable than
the last model. The writing function is also improved with a much simpler way of changing the ink
once it’s dry. Aside from the automatic shut off (soul technology) activating after 30 seconds and
turning off, the pen now deactivated after 45 seconds. A difference of 15 seconds.
The pen
functions in the exact same way as the spider pen pro, there is no differences for the most part in
functionality except the extended soul technology. You can do ALL of the same effects with the
spider pen X that you could do with the pro. The new instructions do however, provide you with two
new effects. Balancing bills and re-leaf. Both of which can be done as presented. The no set up
re-leaf is impressive. Just make sure you choose a tree or bush with smooth bark. This really can be
attempted impromptu. So impressive.
The “X” uses the same IT as the pro with the small
spider reels. The new reels I believe have more feet of IT than the old reels. The advert says you
can now walk up to 40 feet away from the floated item, you can do this with the spider pen pro as
well and is completely based on how much IT your spider reel contains, this is not a feature of the
spider pen x itself.
The video which by the way is excellent quality as expected from
media products, mentions you can buy accessories for the SPX but I was unable to find these
accessories for sale on any website. Note that you cannot use the accessories pack for the spider
pen pro on the spider pen x. Perhaps the accessories are coming and the video is just taking that
into account for the future.
Overall this one is really nice quality. Feels solid and it
should last years if taken care of. If you already have a spider pen pro just know that all you will
really get out of this upgrade is a visually better looking pen, with apparently a slightly better
motor, and a couple new effects that can be done. But once you have the knowledge of these effects,
they can be done just the same with the old spider pen models. Even the original. I should also add
that the new pen takes AAAA batteries. Usually must be ordered online.
I’m giving this pen
a 5/5 because it honestly is. So was the spider pen pro. I owned both the previous spider pens and
picked this up for the new design and new effects. However, if you are expecting something
completely revolutionary and game changing, you won’t find that with the new model, why you will
find is a slightly upgraded spider pen for a new generations of magicians that while yes, upgraded
in various fashions, still provide the same quality effects and method as the last version.
Personally I love re-leaf and the new pen design is worth it too me. Ima. Spider pen guy and for
guys like us, this is a must have.

I've tried a few different invisible thread devices and tricks and this one is by far the easiest
and most inconspicuous I've come across.
The thread that comes with the pen is as near
invisible as it can be, but it's strong enough to hold up during effects.
The pen itself
looks like any old pen. The only downside to the pen is that the wax is quite visible if you have
the pen in a breast pocket or clipped somewhere. To combat this, I've just clipped the pen inside a
hoodie or jacket. It makes it a riskier because it's possible to snap the thread if it doesn't feed
smoothly, but with some practice it's not much of a concern.
The included explanation and
effects are great. Yigal gives great details and some very helpful pointers and tips during the
video.
I've been disappointed by previous invisible thread gimmicks but I'm really glad I
took a chance on the Spider Pen X. It's a bit expensive but I think it's worth it.

The worst product I have ever bought at Penguin. $ 100 that went to waste. Maybe it's my fault - I
had a pretty similar experience with Tarantula 2 but for some reason I thought Yigal Mesika learned
from mistakes. He did not. The product only comes with one wax (?!) And one thread that will surely
tear you apart. Yigal's method for "save the thread" - for the condition of tearing the thread -
does not work. It's never really worked. You will probably need to order a new thread + extra wax
immediately (a clear financial interest no?). Very disappointed that penguins sell such a product.
It is better to invest some more money and buy better quality levitation products. The only good
thing is that the pen looks good. Be careful!

Honestly buy one of the other levitation devices, either by him or someone else. The wax ball comes
dry, which is cool, it happens. There was no video tutorial. I don't know what the other comments
are referring to, but I didn't get an instruction video. Luckily I messed with a few of these and
got the idea. The string is not as strong as it appears, but it is invisible.
in my
opinion, not worth the money. Bought it, received it, played with it, and returning it all in the
same day.

First let me say that I am a fan of loops and the levitating illusions. This is my first experience
with the technology that the Pen works with.
The Pen is well made and writes better than
average. The video is very well made and goes through everything from opening the box and various
methods of using the Pen.
I received my Pen on Saturday 1/8/22 and watch all the videos to
be familiar with the product and techniques. This morning when I installed the battery and when I
lightly grabbed the the wax it was very dried out and fell off. unfortunately the Product doesn't
come with any bit of replacement wax. :(
I am sure for those of you that work with
levitation gimmicks you probably have extra supply of wax, but for those that are just starting out
and are avid hobbyists. Spending $100 on a trick that doesn't come with at least a small amount
replacement wax would be a great benefit. Now I am stuck having to order another product from
Penguin to be able to work this trick.
The packaging is not on the same level as some of
the tricks I have purchased for half the price.
Maybe my expectation was too high .......
I am looking forward to experiment with this and see if it is something that I can add to
my routine.

Doesn't work. Thread was lost and don't find it back

The pen itself is great. About the best IT I have used. I have no issue at all with the quality,
aesthetics or workings of the pen. The video support is also very good.
My issue is that I
am constantly having to fix the broken thread… and I do not find it near as easy as the video shows.
I have issues after every three or four uses. The fix takes time, is a little tedious and usually
takes at least a couple tries. Be sure and order extra supplies when you order the pen.
It
is expensive, but it is probably worth it. It really does look like real magic when you perform. It
is just tough maintaining it.
