I like the idea of the beer cap but that is all you really get from this video. If you are not a
beginner then you know all that this video teaches. I think that if this is the way of penguinmagic
is headed with instant downloads then I will head elsewhere. It is not about the money it is the
principle. Give your customers a good deal that is fair for the price. This one to me was a scam
for the price.

Yet another misleading trailer. The trick isn't bad and the price is right but its misrepresented.
If your audience management isn't spot on, you'll be found out immediately. Disappointing.

Don't want to give anything away, but you cannot use a borrowed deck. I'm a fan of organic tricks.
Even if you have to add a duplicate card to a regular deck, that's cool, although I prefer tricks
that rely on purely on slight of hand, misdirection, etc.
What others have said about the
PBR is true - it's critical to making this trick work right. I may try that portion of it, leaving
out the method using the deck.
Also - the explanation leaves out a critical piece of
instruction regarding the deck itself. That really ought to be part of the cost.

As the demo claims "the sneakiest secret you may ever learn", I expected something at least
interesting. Instead, I founded out a move hundred of years old and not so easy to execute in real
world. Ok, it,s just five bucks, but I think it,s not worth this little money

There are some problems here:
1. You need to do this in a setting where a bottle of Pabst
Blue Ribbon is being served/drunk.
2. I have drunk a lot of of Blue Ribbon in my time
(including 2 cans last night). I have never seen a bottle at a bar let alone a party. They do exist
but they are not common at all -- at least where I have lived and visited.
3. The
description claims you can do this with any object, slip of paper, etc. This was discussed in the
video for a whole 5 seconds. The randomness of the card choice and the misdirection is all within
the Blue Ribbon bottle cap.
4. You will have to rework the trick (patter, presentation,
misdirection etc) if you want to use slips of paper, bottle caps or coins . This means creating a
random card choice you will have to carry many slips of paper, caps or coins with different cards
written on them. It's not organic as the Blue Ribbon bottle and overall not as good.
5.
Bottom line don't let the description fool you. The trick completely revolves around a bottle of
Pabst Blue Ribbon. Anything else is not practical and "too cute" as Jason says a couple of times in
the video.

It is a nice way of using one slight involved in this trick.
It is not bad at all. I
figured the method out the first time I watched the trailer. But I still bought the effect, because:
1. I wanted to be sure
2. I wanted to learn the nuances and tips from him directly
Personally I have to adjust the whole concept a bit - since here we don't have the brand of the
beer. But I came up with a great idea on how to use any cap and justify the whole thing....
I am glad I got it in the cool box....
I dont regret it is nice idea, nice teaching.
just a pity he doesn't go over the other options instead of a cap, but nice effect indeed.

I loved this trick from that book-it was presented as a "sucker" trick and had a silver-dollar with
mini-card instead of bottle cap. I really like like what he has done here. This effect is totally
different and is stream-lined into a very powerful (actually impossible) succinct prediction effect.
If you don't have the Fields book you should buy the new updated one by Racherbaumer as there is a
plethora of usable stuff. This is a great deal for ten bucks! and will give you a chance to work on
your new easy sleight!

It's a good effect but wish he would have discussed more about the short card shuffle/placement

New presentation on an old effect, if you have card college 1 or another beginner book than you
might know this already, o.k new idea with the beer cap, but why not selling something new. The
teaching and presentation is good.

Fun and easy to perform specially if the bar has PABST beer. I do several shuffles keeping the
selected card on top and then I spread the cards face down and tell the spectator to touch a card
and tell him "even the card is face down I think you selected the four of clubs" which is the card
in the bottle cap.
