I am just recently getting into magic and illusion. This isn't the first trick I bought off of this
site. But it is the first from this site that I've put into practice. Getting the reactions I get
are priceless. I'm currently practicing doing it one-on-one, so I've only showed maybe 5 people so
far. Every time was an awesome reaction. I showed a co-worker, and he goes, "What are you? Possessed
or something?" And the first person I showed, which was my dad, had the best reaction. Really really
cool effect.

I am not an expert magician, but I have been performing for seven years. I bought this trick because
of the overwhelming reviews. But sadly, it did not live up to the hype.
It is easy to do,
but the reactions are nowhere near what the hubris suggests. And, experience and practice aside,
half the time they do remember my slight touch to their hand, and thus easily guess how the effect
was done. Very disappointing.
But what really put this one on-the-shelf for me was how
quickly it literally fell apart. First appearances behind me (and I am not hard on my gimmicks), I
practiced and performed this about twenty times before the gimmick separated into pieces I had
little interest in trying to fix. (It didn’t break, it came un-glued.)
So, no I would not
re-buy or recommend this to others — regardless of all the 5-star reviews.

It is a neat little trick but it is tooo expensive. It's hard not to get black over yourself and to
get it cleanly onto the spec without double or smearing. Also there isn't much in terms of why you
are doing this trick on the tutorial. Why are you bringing out a marker and having them hold their
hands out? The way it is presented and taught in the instructions people easily and I mine EASILY
figure it out. I am working on finding a small sharpie routine to do along with this to make it more
usable. Like a vanish reappear etc and throw this in as part of it. For the price this should be in
the video presentations and teachings but as is this falls short.
This could have been much
much better.

...Always! Throw this in your pocket along with another sharpie and BAM! Minds will be shattered.
That simple. I'm gonna go ahead and say please DO NOT GET THIS. This is just too, too good.

Enough said.

First of all, I was debating on hetting it because the price is steep. I am glad my impulse
influenced this purchase. The gimmick is devious and well thought out. I have not done this trick in
front of people, since I want to practice for a few weeks. My overall impression is, its definitely
worth every penny. The trick will last for many performances, but if the gimmick runs low, there is
always replacements. Dont think, just buy!

Do not listen to what anyone else says. This effect gets the best reactions. This is the one they
will remember. This is the definition of a worker. Easy to carry around and you will perform this
every day once you put the practice in.

Gimmick well made but I have very sweaty palm so it won't work even uses the method taught. Classic
Ash transfer move was more natural and nobody ever question the move! but for doublecross a very
strong and. Good presentation/crowd management and showmanship to really make this trick work
magical and not doubtful.

Fantastic tool allowing amazing effect! Worth the money and well-made. An idea for future versions
of this gimmick - including other options than the cross only, eg heart, that would be awesome and
would win many hearts in the audience :)
