I am not an expert magician, but I have been performing for seven years. I bought this trick because
of the overwhelming reviews. But sadly, it did not live up to the hype.
It is easy to do,
but the reactions are nowhere near what the hubris suggests. And, experience and practice aside,
half the time they do remember my slight touch to their hand, and thus easily guess how the effect
was done. Very disappointing.
But what really put this one on-the-shelf for me was how
quickly it literally fell apart. First appearances behind me (and I am not hard on my gimmicks), I
practiced and performed this about twenty times before the gimmick separated into pieces I had
little interest in trying to fix. (It didn’t break, it came un-glued.)
So, no I would not
re-buy or recommend this to others — regardless of all the 5-star reviews.
expand the time between the 'method' and the time of the ‘effect’ as 'much as possible' according 'Strong Magic' Darwin Ortez.... But even this theory isn't necessary... Whàt are you DOING ??? With the hands of your spectators? Never heard of brief touches…??? Or are you saying : “NÓW… I ÁM SPREADING YOUR HANDS A B I T F U R T H E R (than Nórmal) FROM EACH OTHER…”????
My gimmick still stands after several usages. You seem to have bad luck with your gimmick. I bought several Sharpies and expanded the exterior tip with other stamps…. Using all kinds of glue/stamp-material (felt)… (experimental) But why not making one of your own… A cross is a cross… But some rune sign like ‘Fehu’, ‘Naudiz’ or ‘Opilah’ or other luck-bringing Nordic sign… can bring some awe…. And tell some intriguing story about it…. Google it…. The more story… the móre the moment of ‘method’ gets separated from the moment of ‘effect’… 😉 Keep it as far away as possible!!!
Este juego lo llevó haciendo harto tiempo y he conseguido reacciones monumentales, al principio un par de veces me pasó que recordaban el "toque" pero mejoré la historia y los tiempos y la cosa cambió a tal punto que la mayoría queda plop! Y preguntándome como lo hice si nisiquiera los toque. Yo creo que tu problema puede darse por la forma en que lo haces. Espero te sirva 👍
