I highly recommend this effect for the mindreader who prefers that "personal touch" in their presentations. This is not for the "Game Show Host Mentalist" or comedy routine. Depending on your style, this is serious stuff that will leave a lasting impression with your participants.

IF you decide to do this, treat it with respect. A bit of practice is needed to make the whole thing work smoothly but worth the time.

I could barely hear anything in the trailer because of the "background" music.

The "background" music should be set at 10% to 20% of the main audio track, not at the same volume (or in this case, even louder than Lewis Le Val's voice.

I decided to buy this against my better judgement based on all the good reviews and recommendation. Should have saved my money.

While it is impromptu and may work for some crowds the handling is not very clean or motivated. I believe if you saw the hands or cards on the table in the trailer you would think twice about getting this. In fact, while demonstrating the main move he messes up several times. He tries to explain away the necessary handling, but for an astute audience it must seem like an abnormal sequence hinting at the method.

Other then showing the very old and simple method a couple of times there isn't much else to the explanation and little on the readings.

OK if you are new to mentalism or magic, but can't see many others being overly pleased with this purchase.

Be absolutely sure you want to read minds, then get this piece of perfection. The methods involved are certainly not new. In fact they involve some of the oldest, and that's what makes this so great. It combines pieces of everything I've learned in magic and mentalism into one super-powerful effect that fits right in with my current material. It's straight-forward mind reading at it's best.
It would not be good for large stages, but excellent everywhere else. You will be revealing intimate information about the person and so it demands that kind of performing environment.
It will help if you already have a background in doing readings. The better you can do that, the more powerful this will be, and the more real it will look. Otherwise it could come off looking like a "trick". It's too good as a mind reading instrument to be treated like that.
Many times I have read minds with nothing more than the spectator and myself. While that is impressive to most, people like to have visual representation of the magic taking place. This is absolutely perfect for that using the same kind of material I already use. I will be adding this directly into my repertoire. Thank you so much Lewis.

This is a really good magic/ mind reading effect. It's well thought out and well presented. Lewis is a good teacher - he has a soft, very pleasant manner.
My only negative is the sound quality of the download. It's a criticism I have made before and I see that another reviewer has also mentioned it - the incessant back-ground music which many of the dvd producers seem to consider essential - is too loud and so monotonous . It actually annoys the **** out of me and distracts my concentration. At times it almost makes Lewis's explanation difficult to hear. I would have given 5 stars if more attention had been paid to the quality of the download !

I like this because it's so clean and you end clean. Not hard to do at all and makes you look like a freaking psychic mind reader. Super duper slight involved that is easy enough for literally a beginner and the video teaches it well along with other ideas etc.

ACAR thanks for telling us to get this one! If I saw it twice performed EACTLY as in this video I would be happy to believe it was mire electronics. For 20 bucks this is a STEAL. OK - I'm reading the reviews and I have no idea who is saying this is hard card work. This is SO EASY YOU WILL BE DOING IT IN 5 MINUTES. It's not even moves cause of the size of the biz cards and the cover are there. Re angles - if you cannot control these by holding the cards at chest level than something is wrong - I'd say this is angle proof for most guys and for rank beginners this is angle proof except for the extreme behind left and right of you. 90% is good enough for me! In fact this is the least angle sensitive version of this effect I have seen. I have to wonder at the complaints about the "you tube video" quality too. You magicians complaining about this effect are looking at the wrong stuff. The video is fine! If aliens made it to earth and a scientist was explaining how they landed, I don't care if it is an HD surround sound or a super 8 video from 1962. I just want the damn info! And info there is. It's totally viewable and you can quickly learn from it. This is a compilation of known methods put together so artistically it is painful to realize how simple and diabolical it is. Throw out your $200 light up peek wallets and your chemical papers and electronic gizmos and plunk down a $20 bill and enjoy a most deceptive, any time, any where feat! You'll love this. A thought for those of you who bought it and for Lewis the creator. There's a part where you number something 1,2,3. You can ignore the numbering and just tick a dot, two dots and a little line for the 1,2,3 and then there's nothing to see at all for the spectator. That or 3 different corner bends. You'll get it when you buy this! Fantastic and at least 4 things here that are each worth $20 easily. Buy this!
