I have a few gimmicks which give the look of the deck instantly losing its card box.. it is a great
miracle but sadly i feel a tad conned by the video advert of this trick, as you can see when the
trick is shown in a studio you can see four sides of the box, the bottom, top side and the flap, as
the magician performs the trick you can see the side panel as well as the top of the box and the
flap.. the hand goes across and then you see the deck.. The trick does not allow you to do this..
Hence why i feel conned,, I thought it would be exactly as it is performed and it is not. Besides
you have to build the gimmick yourself and you can pick up a cheaper version from all good magic
shops. The only difference is the flap.
Highly expensive for something you have to make, i
would expect the gimmick to be made for me at that price.
To be frank, a total
disappointment.

After several hours of cutting, gluing, and cursing. The gimmick ended up falling apart before I
even finished construction. I'd have to see about getting more supplies to start again from scratch
but I don't see it being worth it. Would not recommend.

I concur with some of the other reviewers. The video looks great, but you have to make the gimmick.
Even though they provide the necessary items with the DVD, I didn't read anywhere that I have to
make the gimmick. This is a complicated gimmick to make, and while they may make it look easy, there
are many areas where an inexperienced person could screw it all up. The demo video does make it look
like you can see the entire box from all angles; they do cover ways of doing this on the DVD, but
frankly this is overly complicated. I won't even try to make the gimmick. I dislike do-it-yourself
magic. Should have spelled out in the product description that extensive construction is required. A
waste of money.

I had bought this trick knowing it would have to be constructed and once I constructed it (2 times
because I messed up) the end result could have easily been better if this trick offered premade
gimmicks so 3 stars due to my disappointment with the difficulty the trick has to construct but the
pros are a great video explanation that even goes over a mental portion

You can't be to close to people with this one but all in all not bad I will use this one in low
light or controlled situations but not for walk around just would look funny me taking 10 steps
back to make sure the gimmick wouldn't be noticed .the gimmick was a bit of a pain to make might be
good for low light table hoping

The gimmick needs to be constructed. It does not last a lifetime as others may lead you to believe.
However, the information provided does allow you to construct additional gimmicks with materials
that can easily be procured.

This IS a total rippoff i am usually very good at do it yourself projects i have built and designed
many tricks i have spent days and money on materials i built a half dozen prototypes and none of
them work this is total garbage i am contacting san minds for a refund
Although I am blown away by this effect, the sad thing to say is that making it from scratch has
been frustratingly difficult. And yet I have yet to complete a fully working gimmick that doesn't
look tempered or worked out. I am not sure if this DIY process is as difficult as Gone Deck by Shim
Lim, but I have yet to find a trick gimmick that is easier to make than Unboxing and works
flawlessly without looking more worn out with excessive use over time. Disappointed.
Would be better if they just sold the gimmick.
It’s easy to mess up your construction with all
that folding going on.
Best to buy some bicycle seconds to make this. I’m yet to make one I’m
happy with enough to perform with.
Good idea, however they should provide the gimmicked constructed.
