Effect

A tray, three cups and a ball are shown. The magician places the ball on the center of the tray and covers it with one of the cups. The remaining two cups are placed on each side of the hidden ball.

Now, in the classic three shell and pea con the cups are moved around. A spectator from the audience is asked to pick the cup concealing the ball. when the cup is lifted, the ball is not there. Another cup is lifted to show the location of the ball.

The ball con game is repeated as many times as you want using the same or different spectators. No matter how hard they try, the ball is never where they think it is.

It most certainly has its prospects but only comes with instructions in chinese so you have to figure it out on your own but with a little common sense and rocket scientist ingenuity you can do it, but for the price instructions in english would have been a great help. Also you have to furnish your own cups which is sort of a good idea as they will wear out quickly if you use it regulary. Overall I still like it.

Well made, excellent device. It is very clever in design. Very easy to use. While it comes with directions in Japanese, Penguin can send English instructions. It would be nice if you didn't have to ask, if they just included them automatically. However, once you see how cleverly this works, you really won't need the instructions. By the way, you can use chop cup balls for the effect and move into a chop cup routine if someone questions the board. Even if they do, it is quite a clever device. This effect lends itself very well to using "Chop" by Craig Petty in conjunction with this effect. I strongly recommend both.
