Everyone participates and it is fun. The car is a perfect size for regular playing cards or the
small cards provided. The downloadable English pdf is thorough and the cards provide what you need
for the trick that a beginner can do.
The instructions show how a regular deck of cards can
be used and search Penguin for Juan Tamariz's excerpt of El Cochecito.
It's a great
presentation. You'll know how it's done, but spend the $5 for Juan's instructions.
The
Koornwinder Kar has a feature where the car can be handed out (the suggestion is not to...just let
them grab it) where they can't make it stop at all.
You'll see in Juan's video where he
uses a flat surface rather than the mat he has in place. One reason is that he can push and release
the car and it will stop. I've found that on a mat the back and forth adds a car length or two
unless the car is pressed down hard. This extra distance can easily be factored in. A small box is
provided for transport and the tiny cards take up little space. Just plain magic fun.

This is the best version. This is one of the cutest magic effects of all time. I remember seeing
this trick on Worlds Greatest Magic when I was a kid and always wanted on of these little cars. Pair
this with Tiny Plunger for a fun routine with tiny props. The lock/unlock feature of this gimmick
sets it dramatically apart from its peers.

This item is now my #1 favorite by Tenyo, having displaced 'Mr. Danger' on my current list. Truly,
I believe that if you dedicate even minimal practice time to make your presentation smooth, you will
be rewarded with an effect that will amaze, as the tactile feedback from the Kar when it stops can
really give the impression of having a mind of its own! I've witnessed eyes widening and slightly
nervous giggles occurring--never a bad thing when you're looking to impress!
Bottom line:
Buy it. You won't be disappointed.
