This is one of those effects that requires nothing from the performer but acting and the simple
memorization of one very easy card move (that you talk the spectator through during a deal). The
pictures on the cards are very common household items so you can easily add more items to the
outcome possibilities and have this trick turn out several different ways. It does include three
items so you are ready to perform out of the box, but I changed a few of the items for close-to-hand
objects (dice, gum, superglue, etc) so the outcome was never the same.
While this may not
be something you do as a closer, it's very strong to laymen (magicians may not be fooled by what
you've done, but it's possible if you are slick enough). I love the ease of this effect and the way
it ends up with items the spectators have seen and probably used before so there is a connection
there for them to see the ordinary used in a magical way.
