I bought this dvd a while ago along chef tsao's other dvd "arming system" and I've enjoyed every
minute of watching, learning, and practicing the routines presented on both dvds. his one coin
routine (chef's coin 2.0) and his spellbound routine are probably my favorites. they look absolutely
incredible, and possibly as close as you can get to real magic with coins without using gaffs.
honestly all the routines on here are amazing though, and you even get a nice little bonus routine
which really packs a punch to be considered a bonus. I will be without a doubt performing these
routines, but there are so many amazing techniques that I will be incorporating into my own routines
.chef tsao is a technical wizard with coins. some of the routines on here are definitely
challenging, though there are some fairly easy ones as well. I can say you won't be performing his
3fly or spellbound routine your first time watching. I would not recommend this dvd or "the arming
system" to beginners, as I feel like a beginner would be completely overwhelmed by the sleights and
techniques and would think this stuff to be impossible. however I would highly recommend this to any
intermediate to advanced coin magician.
I personally enjoy a challenge and if anyone else
enjoys a challenge, and is willing to put in the practice, you will love this dvd as much as I do.
do not listen to the other negative review here. I can guarantee they did not take the tim to
practice the material, and thought the material was too difficult or not practical. the main
technique that most of these routines are based around, is not necessarily difficult, however
incorporating this sleight into these routines and making everything look as smooth as chef tsao
does is quite a challenge. but once you get some of this stuff down, you will be greatly rewarded as
this stuff (when executed well) will look like real magic. oh, and in regards to the main sleight,
it can be a bit angle sensitive. I would not perform a lot of this stuff surrounded, but for one to
maybe three people max (if they are grouped together) will work just fine. as with any other kind of
magic or sleight, you have to know your angles. that being said, the main move itself is sooo
versatile and I cannot believe how overlooked this sleight is because there is so much you can do
with it once you get it down.
all in all, I love this dvd. and like I said I would
highly recommend this to any intermediate to advanced coin magician. with all of the techniques,
sleights and routines taught here, I can guarantee you will come away with something. some very
creative and inspiring stuff here. since learning this, my dexterity has greatly improved as well as
my coin magic in general. if you have any sort of creativity, you will at the very least find ways
to incorporate these sleights into your own routines. I really hope chef tsao comes out with some
more material.
I hate to sound like an ad, but if your interested in this. do not hesitate
to get "the arming system" as well. it teaches twice as many tricks as this dvd, and you will find
many of the sleights from this dvd on the arming system. the arming system actually came out before
this. holy c.o.w is kind of a continuation off of the arming system. but both dvds have invaluable
material taught. again, I cannot recommend these dvds enough.

i love all the aspects of this DVD. the techniques shown on it are top notch and i am a particularly
big fan of the 3 fly and the copper silver which are not actually that hard. the only thing is you
would have to perform it for people who are sitting down but I don't have a problem with that.
EXCELLENT!!!
