This thread is incredibly thin. Yes, I know it's thread, but when you're talking about doing a magic effect for a group of people you want something that at least the second row can see. The thread does glow under black light, but if it is more than three feet from the light it almost disappears. Now imagine you standing on stage or sitting in a stool and you can easily see how you probably won't be close enough to a black light to make this work. You can't do this in a room with normal lighting unless you are wearing absolute black so it will stand out.

It does break easily, and the spool has a special gimmick in one end that keeps it ready to go at a moment's notice once you set it up. Unfortunately, it's just so thin it's really not useful unless you were performing this maybe for one person.
