I want to first off say that I have been using this effect in a routine to end my birthday shows for the past month of so and audiences really seem to enjoy it.

Ad Copy:
It performs just as the ad copy says it will. It will take work to get the change to happen just right but anyone should be able to do it.

Routine:
Although the effect doesn't come with a routine per say is lends itself to a lot of fun. Anyone who had created a routine for children will have fun creating a routine around this prop.

Materials Provided:
The foulard is the main part of the effect. At first the material was a bit stiff; however, after working with it and performing the change a dozen or so times it softened up and became easier to work with. Due to the nature of the method, you can't perform this effect with backlighting but for the majority of performing situations, the gimmick does an adequate job. Also, because the bag and foulard are contrasted so differently and foulard must be displayed taut across the top and not allowed to sag in the middle (you'll understand once you see the prop). For this fixed position I deducted half a star.

The silks provided will work for the effect; however, they are not to my personal liking. The four silks provided appear to be Polyester and not real silk. They also have thick hemmed edges. For this, I deducted half a star.

The foulard's corners are attached to two loops made from thin blue ribbon. Due to this force used for the change in the effect, these blue ribbons started showing wear after 10 or so changed. I took off the original ribbons and added new ones using thicker more durable ribbon and more stitching to attach them to the corners. The new ribbon handles work wonderfully and hold up to force needed for the effect. For the need to replace the ribbons I also deducted one star.

Final Notes:
Overall if you like the idea of using a bag blendo to end a show or routine this product might be for you. Yes, you can use it as-is out of the box but I highly recommend replacing the ribbon loops for added strength and durability. I love this effect and so do my audiences and the main reason I gave 3 out of 5 stars was due to the manufacturing that could have used a bit more care.
