I expected higher quality from Tango.
Two big problems for the discerning coin worker.
During the expanding process, I have heard that downward force causes the expansion. When you
look at the shell Eisenhower's head is quite "flat". Compared to a regular coin where the profile is
very pronounced. They appear quite different. Also the "shine" does not match any of my regular
coins. Again, very different. Will lay people notice? Probably not?? but I expected better from
Tango.
I would like to compare it to the "Johnson" product. I have several Johnson half dollar
shells which are perfect matches to the real thing.I can't speak of the dollar shell because I have
not seen it. If these things matter to you...stay away.

The coin is too flat. Wish there more choices then just Tango.

Do yourself a HUGE favor and buy Roy Kuepper's products instead. They're handmade quality coins and
gaffs by a real craftsman. Tango products aren't the only option!
A complete line of Roy's
products/work are available here on Penguin Magic. His Eisenhower shell is not only top quality, but
it's even a few bucks cheaper. You also receive an excellent download, including thorough and clear
instruction on some great tricks to get you going.

These Tango shells are (in my personal experience) fragile, mass produced and a prone to break
easily. The coverage is poor and uneven. The overall "clean" appearance on the coin can actually
cause suspicion because it doesn't match the appearance of your normal coins.
I liked it but it did say it came with dvd. But other than that it's a well made set.

Tango Eisenhower Dollar Shell is perfect. Some have complained about how the image of the shell is
too flat, I say it is perfect, this makes it look worn as far as I am concerned. ha to take a little
bend out of it so it would lay flat on the surface of the coin. All in all a great purchase/
Inside the coin folder is the instruction, "to watch video instruction use this link... If you are
an AOL subscriber you are out of luck, as well as other on line sites.. Tango offers an apology but
no help in overcoming this such as a hard copy video or other means of instruction. I bought a lot
of tango and always had a video enclosed. (folding coin, TUC,and others.) This unheard of, for what
I considered a great coin company
Tango has become a leader in producing gaff coins and this Eisenhower dollar shell is as good as any
I've come across. I actually prefer it over my Johnson set. Plus, it comes with a DVD!
