Absolutely love these squeakers, I’ve been using them for years! I work in a haunted house and my
only way of talking is squeaking. People say, “You, do you got a cockroach or some rat in your
hand?” And then they see my mouth moving and say, “Dude! That’s you!” Great product to use for any
scary occasion or just for laughs when you need to get a moment going
I bought these with the intent to use them as a "squeaker voice" while fursuiting. I have used mouth
squeakers before many times, and am practiced enough with them I can usually 'say' "thank you", "bye
bye!" do a wolf whistle, etc many things through the squeaker by moving my lips and jaw as I squeak,
effectively creating a squeaky "voice". I can also usually "curse" through it. Since I have a
fursuit head on, you can't see my mouth moving anyway, and it has a great effect when used for wolf
whistling gags, unexpected squeaks when shaking hands, etc.
These squeakers do not
squeak effectively for that use. As soon as a bit of spit gets forced into the reeds of the
squeaker, the squeaker stops squeaking until the spit dries out. Even sucking it out doesn't make it
squeak again. They do squeak all right on both the inhale and exhale, but if you use them to do any
complex "squeaker talking" instead of simply "squeaking" at random, you will have issues.
I tried perfecting my squeaker talking with this to no avail, and eventually wound up buying a
couple cheap dog toys and removing the squeakers to use. (These functioned fine and I was able to do
all my usual "Talking")
Upon closer inspection, I notice the ones that I normally use
appear to be "single voice", and this one is "double voice," so perhaps the single voice ones are
better for squeaker "voicing."
