I have bought a number if disks on sponge balls. This is excellent. His teaching style is
interesting and fun. THe moves are clear and he covers many aspects of what you can do. Also he has
video clips from many proffesional sponge workers from over the years giving their advice and some
routines. There is even an older clip with Albert Goshman himself teaching. Some of the film
clipsare not of modern quality but I had no problem with them.

well, i will start by saying that this is truely is amazing! i found so many useful stuff that i
started performing after i saw it. dacri teaches in a great way, and in a way that it is easier to
learn. some guests of his teach other type material (weather if it is a bar, or a kids-show) so if,
for example you are a close-up magician who is interested in studying kids-magic, you already have
something to start with! of course you might find a lot of the stuff impractical for you (for
example, i don't like to use a thumb-tip) you can skip it, and some day return to it... even though
i suggest that even if you don't use a prop a lot, learn it anyway... i guess that is why steve
called it "spongeball toolbox". hope i helped!

A great starting point with sponge balls. Comes with just about everything you need to get going and
making your own routines.

this spongeball kit is wonderful. Dvd is well presented and skills and routines are well explained.
Shooting of the dvd could have been better but at the end what matters most is learning the skills
properly. Very helpful toolbox!

If you are a beginner, you will get everything you need with this set to start. (You will get some
sponges and proprs as well.) I really liked the content.
The DVD quality is quite retro, you
can watch it all at once, because there is no menu for the chapters :D

I own a few DVDs on spongeballs. To include Ben Salina's, and everything that Daryl put out. This is
still a good reference, there were a few techniques that I hadn't seen or heard of before and lots
of comedy and it comes with all the props -- for less than $20. Can't beat it. I think it's great!

I would like to point out that Mr. Dacri's name is misspelled in Penguins listing. His last name is
DACRI, not DARCI.
I was a friend and colleague of Steve back in the 1980's. I worked for and
with Steve and performed his Sponge Ball routine as a means of demonstration (long before the days
of downloads and dvd's), in an effort to sell his routine in his Magic Shop. Mr. Dacri learned
much of his sponge ball magic from Kozak, who also had his routine in book form for sale. I
demonstrated his routine many many times in Dacri's store as well. So, I'm giving Kozak his props
for much of, but certainly not all of Steve's routine. After perchasing Kozak's routine, I adapted
his routine to fit my style and preference and I must say, that performance is something that I
became somewhat known for locally. Dacri was a master at close up magic and sponge ball magic and he
was also quite the comedian. I recommend this routine highly if you are new to sponge balls
particularly. You will learn how to perform a masterful routine. And if you can somehow obtain a
copy of Kozak's routine (which soli for $2.00 and the time, lol), I would recommend it highly as
well.

This is the definitive set which includes everything you've ever wanted to know about sponge balls
along with high-quality working materials. The late, great Steve Dacri was the best I ever saw.
Comes very highly recommended.

Everything you need to get started with sponge balls. The DVD seems a bit dated, but the material
is great. This set is a good starting point for any beginner.
