I bought a Grifters coin when they first came out and loved it. But I followed the instructions to
soften it and wasn't sure I liked it so I wanted to buy another that I could keep in original
condition. And I finally did.
It's been a while since these coins first went on sale and this
new Grifters is different in a few ways.
First it is un-milled, which I feel makes palming a
little harder. I have the same issue with Chinese coins.
Secondly it is thicker. And because of
that, it's 5g heavier which along with the lack of milling might make palming more difficult than it
needs to be.
Otherwise it's a great coin for using in your routines if you like having stories
to go with your props. And you might not be bothered about the above changes.
The tutorial by
Brandon Wolf is great too. Basic, but good. Just what a beginner needs to get them started. Don't
expect it to cover all the things you see in the trailer because those moves are a bit more
advanced. But this will get you going and wanting to learn more.
