Wow, being insulting and mean to your audience is not how an "entertainer" should treat people
paying to see a performer. Jokes that aren't funny, and in fact mean, is just awful. Very upsetting.

The trailer included teasers not in the instructions. It implied it was his whole act, not just the
Q&A portion. The video also made many referrals and plus for his book. It may be a great book but I
purchased something claiming to be his "complete" act. Why would I need the book?
If the
trailer and promo email had managed my expectations better I might have felt it was worth it. I did
not enjoy the interview format. I love and highly regard Dan Harlan, and he did an excellent job,
even so I did not feel I got my money's worth here.

His act is old-school Vegas, with plenty of not-funny, not-respectful humor.
Beyond that,
there's perhaps five minutes of actual performance and another 15 minutes of warm up and non-magic
that's hardly worth learning because, as I said, he's a bit of a jerk.
Then, the
explanation begins with tons of biography and other non-useful filler. It turns out that in real
life he's not a jerk, which is nice to see, but more filler.
And finally, the actual effect
he accomplishes after all of this isn't nearly as amazing as the preview video would imply.
Disappointing.

I absolutely LOVED Gerry McCambridge LIVE ACT! The first 23 minutes are a full performance of Gerry
performing his Q&A act in Las Vegas. The next 2 hours or so are Gerry discussing with Dan Harlan
how he does it.
Gerry explains and demonstrates how he puts on his duct tape blind & blind
fold, how he gets the information, how he answers questions, what types of slips he does not use,
how he makes leap of faith guesses (and what to do when they miss), how he cancels methods, how he
provides answers in a way that lift people up, give them encouragement, and so much more.
This is a WONDERFUL video course on Gerry's approach to the blindfold Q&A and an outstanding
companion to his book, Performing the Q&A.
Highly recommended.

Thanks so much for sharing this lecture with us, Gerry. I've seen your show twice already and love
it. A full performance of his Q and A act in his vegas show, followed by a lot of great info and
tips, not just methods, but other very important things, like how to control your audience, what to
do in certain difficult situations, etc. Great stuff. Thanks.

The amount of tips, advice and teachings in this one download are spellbinding. No other Mentalist
alive today has more real world experience in performing Q&A for REAL PEOPLE. If you, like me, have
always wanted to perform Q&A but never felt comfortable, Gerry takes you through all of it. Best
purchase I've made.

Gerry has very generously shared the meat of his Q & A Act, including how to get the information,
how to feed it back to the audience, and most importantly: how to make it meaningful. This is the
ONLY Q & A Act I've seen on a stage that has actually felt meaningful.
Learn from this man, he
knows how to create an experience people will remember for the rest of their lives.

I can't quite understand why in explaining a routine that so heavily relies on billets and a box -
we don't get a look at the billets he uses (paper type, size etc) or what happens inside the box
during performance. I imagine the book goes through these points, but I purchased the explanation
of the Act and am left wanting.

The performance itself is not bad. But why is he so arrogant and cynical with his spectators ? This
is exactly the opposite of the true spirt of a Q&A act... Some kindness would be welcome, Gerry !

I can’t imagain anyone not coming alway from this not learning valuable information from a true
professional.
I have seen Gerry perform this in New York & Las Vegas.
He’s a master of
the Q&A.
The blindfold work alone is worth the price of admission.
Bravo Gerry !
