One of the extraordinary features of Penguin Magic is the transparency customers enjoy in the discussion forums and also the strong integrity of the company in ensuring satisfaction with customer purchases. It was refreshing for me to share my comments on this effect in a phone conversation with Penguin and now in a review. Simply stated, this trick falls drastically short of its depiction and far short of the other outstanding illusions I have purchased from Penguin over the years. I will say that the case is nice..... The apparatus is flimsy and cheap, the bell is tiny, there are no instructions on how to open the remote to insert the battery, no instruction on how to use the antenna with the remote, when the base is opened the materials slide around, there are no batteries provided (especially at this price!) and no presentation ideas. The materials look like they are worth only a few dollars. I look forward to my next Penguin purchase but want to warn everyone to totally stay away from this trick! Thank you. Bill Eiler

There are many versions of Spirit Bells out there. This is a mass produced one that I would not recommend if performing for a paid audience. Presentation is very important. The materials are flimsy. I would recommend the hand made Spirit Bells that have that haunted wooden hand crafted look for many years ago. They are more expensive but look more authentic.
